Early winters morning, looking towards the east, the first signs of day break start with a pinky/ lilac glow over the fells. I decided to try to translate this into a gradient.
This gradient is made up of carefully blended merino fibres, blended together on my drum carder. The set is made from 7 mini batts moving from lilac to black. Each batt has been folded and rolled for ease of transport.
The batts can be felted or spun in a variety of manners, however, I enjoy unrolling each batt, splitting each batt in half to spin a balanced gradient yarn, as shown in the final picture.
Please note that this listing is for a mini batt gradient set (100g) and does not include the yarn :-)
