Male Chaffinches frequent my bird feeders with great regularity. Their beautiful plumage and cheeky, inquisitive manner is always a joy.
This carefully blended gradient set incorporates the gentle rosy plumage of the chaffinch. These 7 blended merino batts can be felted or spun in a variety of different ways. My personal favourite way of spinning these sets is to split each batt in half, and spin in order to make a two ply gradient yarn, as shown in photograph 4 (in Solway Moods gradient).
