Welcome!

Since I have been away I have been looking into the issues which have cropped up thanks to new regualtions in both the EU and the USA.

I am happy to report that I can now dispatch orders to the EU - hurray!

As for the tarriff situation in the USA. The information that I have gained is that individuals can import upto $800 in a single order before tarriffs and other taxes will be levied. However, as the situation has been changing rapidly, it may be advisable to check for any new rules changes with your customs authorities.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss a custom order, please contact me at

This blend was made for the 'Study in Blue' rolag club. The inspiration photograph is of a Holly Blue butterfly.

The Holly Blue lays it eggs on the base of Holly flowers and on Ivy. The caterpillars eat the holly and ivy plants, and then pupate over winter. The adults are seen during spring and summer, often sunning themselves at the top of bushes with their wings closed.

What I loved the most about the photograph was the furry texture of the wings. This led my decision to make a gradient using a blend of merino/ white llama, to give a soft, warm blend which has a lovely halo.

This gradient is made from 1/3 baby llama and 2/3 merino.

The gradient can be made up as striped rolags, a gradient rolag set - as shown in the images - that is 2 rolags of each colour OR it can be made up as batts..
