The shop is now closed for a while to make certain that I can complete all of the orders in time for Christmas. I expect to open the shop again towards the middle to end of December.

It is coming up to the Tour de Fleece again. So I have been looking for inspiration for a new colourway. I chose this wonderful photograph of lavender. I really liked the soft colours and the variation in colour throughout the flower.
The blend is made from merino in soft sades of pink, lilac and lavender, with two fine layers of baby llama, and a touch of blue tussah silk added to the mix. I added the thin layers of baby llama to the rolags, because I wanted to add a slight misty halo to be seen in the spin fibre, to link to the soft misty halo in the photograph. The baby llama is also deliciously soft too :-)
The merino and baby llama fibres will felt. If you do not wish it to, hand wash in cool water.
