Welcome!
Since I have been away I have been looking into the issues which have cropped up thanks to new regualtions in both the EU and the USA.
I am happy to report that I can now dispatch orders to the EU - hurray!
As for the tarriff situation in the USA. The information that I have gained is that individuals can import upto $800 in a single order before tarriffs and other taxes will be levied. However, as the situation has been changing rapidly, it may be advisable to check for any new rules changes with your customs authorities.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss a custom order, please contact me at

My dog, Albie, loves spending time watching the birds when at my Dad's house. The birds that arrive most often are some very large, and almost tame Wood Pigeons. They eat some much bird seed that I am surprised that they can still fly!
Despite their slightly 'bird brained' nature, they have a beautiful, soft coloured plumage. Gentle greys fading to a dusky pink. So, I decided to have a go at replicating their lovely colours.
These batts are made with a blend of merino and natural, grey baby alpaca fibre. The blend is 2/3 merino and 1/3 baby alpaca. I decided to use the alpaca for two reasons. Firstly I wanted to soften the sometimes harsh shades of the merino, and secondly I find merino much easier to spin when another, long staple length fibre is blended with it.
I am happy to say, that triple blending these fibres together has produced just the effect I was looking for.
These batts are light and airy, and will produce a lovely warm yarn with a little halo.
Both the merino and the baby alpaca fibre will felt. If you do not wish it to, hand wash in cool water.
