I found a beautiful photograph of some banana flowers. I had no idea that banana flowers were this pretty. So I decided to set to, and blend colours together to make a gentle gradient from the colours in the blooms.
To even out the colours in the merino I was going to blend the fibres with banana - obviously! However, when I did this, I did not like the courseness of the resulting blend. Therefore, I decided to make the blend with some fabulous superfine BFL fibre that I have sourced. It has a longer staple length than the merino, and it has a gorgeous lustre. The blend of fibre gives this gradient a shimmer and a soft handle that will be a dream to spin.
You will recieve 7 mini batts in the Banana Blooms colourway. These fibres will felt.
