19th August 2025
Due to the upcoming changes to import taxes and tariffs being levied on packages to the USA, I have had to stop accepting orders from my friends in America.
I am presently investigating methods of shipping where taxes are paid when placing an order (so there are no horrible surprises!). As soon as I can organise this I will be accepting orders from the USA.again. Thank you for your patience!

The theme for the Phat Fiber Box for June 2017 is Solstice.
Solstices are about transitions. The transition between night and day, summer and winter. In our past the Sun was vitally important to our ancestors during midsummer, to ensure a good harvest.
However, so was water. Therefore, I took my inspiration from sunrise over water.

The photograph is a photograph of a sunrise over Windermere.
I created each individual colour for these rolags by blending on my drum carder baby llama and 21 micron merino. The different blended batts were then used to create rolags on my blending board that echo the reflected colours of the sunrise over Lakeland.
These rolags contain 70% merino : 30% baby llama
You will recieve 100g of rolags in the Lakeland First Light Colourway. Both of the fibres in this blend will felt. If you do not want them to, hand wash in cool water.
