Due to the upcoming changes to import taxes and tariffs being levied on packages to the USA, I have had to stop accepting orders from my friends in America.
I am presently investigating methods of shipping where taxes are paid when placing an order (so there are no horrible surprises!). As soon as I can organise this I will be accepting orders from the USA.again. Thank you for your patience!

I made this blend for myself, with a specific aim in mind - my BIG puppy loves to play with his favourite teddy, which I love to, a deep brown with bright patches. I want to make myself a matching bear hat for cold walks - only I have a problem, at the moment I find it difficult to spin anything other than laceweight! So, I had two problems to overcome, how to get the pops of colour to represent the patches, and how to make it easier to spin thicker?
For the base colour I have used a blend of wonderfully bouncy Merino D'Arles with a little chestnut merino for colour and some Masham. I have added the Masham as the Merino D'Arles has a short staple length, and I wanted something with a longer staple length to make it easier to spin. These fibres and the batt preparation I hope will help me spin a nice chunky yarm - fingers crossed!
For the pops of colour I have used two different recycled sari silk 'blends' one blue and the other brown with some random colours added.
I have blended the batt three times to make certain that all of the fibres are very well mixed, so I do not get portions of my yarn with lots of colour and other areas without..
I hope that you enjoy this blend too. If you would prefer to have your 100g of this blend as two 50g batts, please just leave a note at checkout.
