Brambles (blackberry bushes) are a common sight in the hedgerows. At present the white blossoms are just starting to flower. However, in late summer and early autumn the berries will form. When ripe they are jet black and shiny. To make sure that the birds keep returning to the plant, to continue to spread seeds, the berries on the same branch will ripen over a period of weeks.
They start a pink/red colour and moved through purple the very tasty ripe black. This gradient set of seven mini batts moves from a berry pink, through purple to black, following the ripening sequence.
The listing is for 100g of carefully blended merino batts that can be spun or felted.
