The ultimate DRAGON themed selection of old and new colourways.

This unique (there can be only one!) pack contains:

150g of Draco Beryllus rolags - based on the jewelled dragon egg inspiration image shown in image 6. The name Draco Beryillus - Draco being the latin term for dragon and  Beryllus being Latin for a precious stone of sea green colour. As this colourway made me think of a Sea Dragon, I thought the name extremely apt. This colourway is made from 21 micron merino in shades of jade, bright green, internse blue and mint, highlighted with yellow and red eri silk and Angelina.

220g of Draco Vulcanis - a gradient rolag set of 11 shades - see image 7. You will get two sets of this colourway - great for making a traditional two ply gradient yarn. This colourway is a gradient moving from intense yellow, through scarlett to deep purple, the name meaning a Dragon of the Volcano. This colourway is a blend of 21 micron merino.

150g Gradient Batt Set of  the colourway Dreki - see the final image. This colourway was produced for the 2024 Halloween box called Monsters and Magic. This is a 10 shade merino gradient, based on a blue/green/purple dragon. I decided to name the gradient Dreki because it is a name for dragons in Norse Mythology.

The final fibre is an absolute favourite of mine, and has been a best seller for years 150g of Fafnir's Heart. This was produced for a Phat Fibre box in 2016 with a theme of monsters. This is sadly the final set of rolags I can make in this colourway, as the base that I use for this blend is now completely unavailable. The name Fafir came from the saga of Sigurd. Sigurd slay the dragon Fafnir to reach the treasure hoard. This colourway is a blend of merino in shades of ruby and red, baby llama, mulberry silk, tussah silk, bamboo and Angelina

To complete the set I wanted a smart bag which could hold safely a spindle project (or could be used as a handbag). The bag is 34cm wide - so a spindle can be laid safely in the bottom of the bag. 16cm tall and 8cm deep. The bag is made from a recycled heavy denim, lined with a beautiful cotton percale William Morris print called dragons and Peacocks. Inside there is a pocket (for a small spindle bowl or keys?), alone the whole back of the bag there is a large pocket which happily holds my mobile phone safely. To complete the dragon theme, I have added a metal/enamel dragon pin which I purchased from Etsy.

To reiterate, this is the ONLY set of this kind that I will make. The set that I have shown in the first pictures are the actual items that will be sent to you. This set is ready for immediate dispatch.
