23rd December 2024 - The shop is now open as normal. Sadly, due to the new European GPSR regulations, at present, I cannot send items to the EU or Northern Ireland. Any orders placed will be fully refunded. I am hoping to find a 'work around' for this issue. As soon as a way forward is found, I look forward to trading with my lovely customers in the EU again.
Dispatch times at present will be approximately 4-5 weeks
UK shipping will be sent via Royal Mail (either first class or tracked 48) and all international orders will be sent using a tracked method. Once your item is shipped I will send you an email with your tracking information. Please note - for some of the dispatch messages that I have sent from the shop email address have been delivered to spam/junk folders - so please check these folders to check for replies and tracking information.
I have put together a couple of new colourways based on some inspiration images of dragon eggs. These stem from when I was looking for images for the Halloween Box themed on Monsters and Magic. The two new colourways are
Draco vulcanis - this is a rolag gradient set, based on an image of a dragon egg that seems to be being incubated within a volcano. The gradient set is made up of 11 different shades moving from golden yellow to a deep dusking purple. The gradient is made from beautifully soft, 21 micron merino and comes to 110g in total (10g per rolag)
Draco beryllus - these colours are taken from a beautifully jewelled dragon egg in shades of turquoise, jade, blue and ultrmarine with highlights of cream and copper. According to google, the name beryllus means a precious blue/green stone with the colour of sea water - which seems to describe this blend perfectly. These rolags are made from 21 micron merino, yellow Eri silk and red Eri silk, with a sprinkling of Angelina.
The project bag is made in a cotton print of blue/green dragon skin. The dimensions of the bag are approximately 7 inches tall, by 7 inches wide by 3 inches deep. The dimensions I took from a lovely little bag that I made myself to house projects on my small or medium sized turkish spindle (the bag is big enough to use for either). This bag has also been slightly padded to give a little protection to your spindle whilst travelling.
