Rolag Tails

UPDATE 2ND JULY 2021 - OPEN FOR EU CUSTOMERS!

On July 1st 2021 tax rules relating to VAT changed in the EU. Now all online vendors have to charge VAT on listed items, and send the VAT to the EU.

I am able to now send parcels to the EU again, whatever the value of the order, using Parcelforce services. So, for orders placed AFTER 1st July 2021, VAT will be charged at checkout. When sending your order via Parcelforce I will send your item via Delivered Duties Paid, which means that I will pay VAT and duties when I send your item. You should not have to pay any customs charges for that parcel.

For orders taken BEFORE 1st July 2021, your parcel will be sent as previously, Delivered Duties Unpaid. This means that you will be charged for any VAT / customs charges - as happened from 1st January 2021.

It takes approximately 1 hour to make up 100g of fibre, some preparations take slightly longer than others. This is why I have a normal dispatch time of 3-4 weeks, depending upon numbers of orders.

UK shipping will be sent via Royal Mail (either first class or tracked 48) and all international orders will be sent using a tracked method. Once your item is shipped I will send you an email with your tracking information.

If you have any questions, or would like changes to a blend, or a custom order, please contact me at carol@fellviewfibres.co.uk

What are Rolag Tails? To make all of my rolags look nice and neat, I always leave a small amount of fibre on my blending board after the final rolag has been removed. Rolag Tails are those little tufts of loveliness left over. They are obviously made from the same quality of fibres that the rolags are made from. They can be spun as they are, blended on hand carders or drum carders to make rolags or batts, or added to other fibres to make completely new blends. Your imagination is the limit!
